Who are you and what do you do?
We are Soap & Sensibility from Kenosha, WI. We sell handcrafted glycerin soaps and many other handcrafted personal care products. Our product line includes body soap, shampoo & conditioner bars, bath fizzies, shower melts, lip balms & scrubs, body butter, face masks & scrub, crafted gift sets & more!!
Where did your business name come from? Is there an interesting story behind it?
This business started with my mother back in 2010. We first sold in a Kenosha Harbor Market. We always had a passion for quality skin with our customers’ skin, senses, and well-being in mind. Our products were so well received in WI that now we sell Soap & Sensibility products in 9 farmers markets, at home shows in Wisconsin and online at soapandsensibility.com . We are a one-of-a-kind find!
What motivates you to create?
The Customers motivate us to create!! We have such a great team at Soap & Sensibility. Our team truly believes it is our Customer base that has attributed to our success. We are so grateful to continue to provide them with quality skin care products at a reasonable price.
What do you think sets your designs apart from others?
Glycerin!! Glycerin is a “humectant”; maintaining your natural oils when you bathe with our product. It works best with your ph balance and moisturizes in a way that is noticeably better.
In addition, our products are reasonably priced and make the best gifts!
Will you be featuring any special holiday items?
Soap & Sensibility is offering holiday soaps with Balsam & Cedar, Frankincense & Myrrh, and Gingerbread. We will also have Holiday bath fizzies and gift sets.

What are some tips or suggestions you would like to offer to fellow makers?
